Ubud Coffee & Café Day with a Private Driver
Make Ubud about the coffee and the company. Pick a specialty café such as Seniman, ask about Indonesian beans and leave room for lunch or a little browsing around the centre. Tell Simson you want café coffee stops without captive-civet attractions.
Your day, at a glance
Coffee first, at your pace
Tell Simson your pickup and whether you prefer espresso, filter coffee or simply a good café breakfast. Choose a focused Ubud plan. This is transport between your stops, rather than a guided plantation or barista tour.
A specialty café stop
Seniman Coffee has an Ubud studio. Check its current menu and ask the café about beans, brewing options and any tasting you want. Workshops, scheduled tastings and private tours need separate confirmation with the operator.
Lunch and a little Ubud browsing
Leave time for a meal and an optional walk around the centre. A market or craft stop is for browsing; do not assume every stall has fixed prices. Your driver meeting point is arranged before you set off on foot.
Choose one extra, or head back
Add one nearby stop that fits your walking preferences and return time. Rice terraces are an optional change to the route, not a requirement. A Kintamani coffee-viewpoint day is a different, longer itinerary.
Before you go
Walking & access
Tell Simson about mobility needs and your preferred amount of walking before choosing stops.
What to bring
Bring water, sun protection and comfortable footwear. Check any temple dress requirements or activity equipment before your trip.
Tickets & extras
Parking and tolls are included. Attraction tickets, activities and meals are separate. Plan your route, pickup and return time with Simson.
Is this your kind of trip?
A good fit for coffee lovers, a slow holiday morning or travellers who prefer conversation and lunch to a checklist of attractions. Ask what beans are on offer and buy only what interests you. The café experience is yours to choose, with no assumption that a tasting or purchase is compulsory.
Good to know
Café bills, beans, workshops, tastings and any attraction tickets are separate. Ask for a transport quote matching your pickup and time. Request ordinary Indonesian specialty coffee and no captive-civet visits. A “wild” kopi luwak label alone does not establish animal-welfare conditions; see the linked coffee guide before choosing an experience.
Make the day yours
Every tour is customisable and easy to plan with Simson. Choose your activities, add stops or slow the pace. Share your date, hotel or villa, passenger count and must-see stops. Simson will help you plan a route at your pace and confirm the driver hours and total price in IDR. Agree any entrance tickets, meals or activities separately before booking.
Your questions, answered
Do we have to visit a kopi luwak plantation?
No. This route focuses on cafés and Indonesian specialty coffee. Tell Simson to leave captive-civet attractions out of your plan.
Is a tasting or coffee workshop included?
No. Check any menu, tasting or workshop with the café, and pay the operator separately. Simson confirms the private transport arrangement.
Check directly with the venue
A good Bali day starts here.
Send Simson your dates and a few places you’d love to see. He’ll help you put the day together.
Just a few hours? Ask for a shorter quote.
The published Rp1,500,000 rate is for 12–14-hour day hire. For these outings, agree a transport quote for your visit length, waiting and return. Venue tickets, activities, purchases and meals are separate.
